Lesson 4

Modeling and editing of solids and surfaces (Platonic solids - reviews).
Primary solids. Boolean operations (Autocad). Launch of the final work.

Exercise 1 - Dodecahedron

Create a dodecahedron starting from a polygonal base with 5 edges. Draw 2 other polygons. Create construction line and rotate one polygon. Use arrayclassic for the rotated polygon to create half of the shape. Align the edges to complete the dodecahedron.

Exercise 2 - Icosaedro

Create a icosaedro starting from a polygonal base with 5 edges. Create a triangle connected to one of the edges and rotate it. Use ArrayClassic to do repeat the triangle and thus, create the top shape. Create a new poligon, copy it and rotate 36 degrees. Create a triangle and rotate it with the helping lines. Use ArrayClassic to create more triangles. Change UCS and rotate it and connect the shapes. Use region to crete surfaces.

Exercise 3 - Dice

Create a dice starting from a box. Use Xlines to create a grid to obtain interestion lines on each face. Then on the intersections create spheres, according to the number of each face. Unite the sphere on the face and substract them from the original volume. Repeat for each face. At the end, fillet so that the cube will have rounded edges.
