He is graduated in Mathematics, holds a MSc in Mathematics (Functional Analysis and Differential Equations) and  PhD in Mathematics (Computational Mathematics). He is currently assistant professor at the Faculty of Sciences of the Univ. of Lisbon, where he teaches courses in computer simulation, numerical analysis and financial mathematics. His research interests include the numerical analysis of PDEs and stochastic analysis.
