She is a teacher at the Faculty of Science, University of Lisbon, where she received a Ph.D. in Computer Science. Her M.Sc. was in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Technical University of Lisbon. She is a member of the research team HCIM at the LaSIGE Lab. She has been teaching and researching in the areas of multimedia, hypermedia, human-computer interaction and information systems.
