Gabriel Gemaque was born in the north of Brazil, a small town in the Amazon rainforest, consequently, he had a strong relation with the land and amazonian culture. His artistic expression has natural philosophy and attention for sociopolitical issues, such as deforestation and the local indigenous community identity.
