Experienced in rehabilitation since 1992 in Austria and Portugal on the basis of energy efficiency, he dedicated himself to sustainable construction and obtained his PhD and became a permanent member of CIAUD/FAUL. Now he is researching Environmental Friendly Building Construction. He participated in international congresses and published in Proceedings, book chapters or journals. 2013/2019, he installed two postgraduate courses about rehabilitation in the World Heritage City of Elvas and Évora. He collaborates with the German Aerospace Centre and the Renewable Energy Chair/University Evora on projects related to renewable energy.
