Nuno Montenegro is architect from the University of Lisbon, having studied in Italy with Vittorio Gregotti and Aldo Rossi at IUAV di Venezia. Master in Environmental Regeneration and Doctor in Urban Planning, he is a research member of the DCG group and CIAUD research center. His scientific work has been published and cited in the field of technologies applied to urban planning and design, with Scopus indexation.
Nuno Montenegro teaches Architectural Design at the Faculty of Architecture of Lisbon and is the author of a range of architectural projects, developed within the scope of his M.AR* studio, during almost two decades of activity.
His projects have won national and international awards, including the Platinum A'Design Award, A + A Architizer Award Selection, FAD Awards and BigMat International Architecture Award. His works have been widely published by the international press.
